About Branch Whitney

In 1983 I moved from the mid-west to Las Vegas. I had never climbed a mountain, but was drawn to the mountains around Las Vegas. My first hikes were frustrating because the trails were not marked and there wasn't any accurate hiking information. I fell i Branch Whitney n love with the mountains and decided to write a hiking book so others could experience all the fantastic hiking in southern Nevada.

I help hikers, who love hiking, but are having trouble finding routes to peaks, waterfalls and other special places, because there are few trails and virtually no trail signs.
